These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LetsChow website and or other platform applications (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by LetsChow(“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

By using LetsChow, you confirm that you are at least 18 years or older and legally able to enter into binding contracts. If you disagree with these Terms, do not make use of our Platform.

2. Platform Use – Rules and Guidelines

You agree to:

  • Use the Platform for lawful purposes only.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Respect the rights of other users and businesses.
  • Not upload, post, or share content that is offensive, misleading, or infringes on any intellectual property rights.

You may not:

  • Use automated tools to access or scrape our content.
  • Attempt to interfere with the security, performance, or functionality of our Platform.
  • Use our Platform to conduct illegal or fraudulent activity.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos(excluding logos uploaded by users), graphics (excluding images, photos uploaded by users), text, features, and functionality, is our property or licensed to us and is protected under copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

5. Restaurant & Food Establishment Eligibility

LetsChow is an exclusive platform for legitimate, brick-and-mortar food establishments. The following eligibility criteria apply to all restaurant registrations and are strictly enforced during the verification process.

Accepted establishments include:

  • Restaurants with a fixed, publicly accessible physical premises.
  • Cafés, bars, bistros, and coffee shops operating from a registered commercial location.
  • Food halls or market stalls operating from a permanent or semi-permanent licensed structure.
  • Fast food outlets and quick-service restaurants with a physical storefront.

The following are NOT accepted and will be declined during verification:

  • Home-based food businesses, cottage food operations, or any establishment operating from a private residential address.
  • Catering companies that do not operate a fixed, customer-facing food premises open to the public.
  • Ghost kitchens or delivery-only operations without a physical, publicly accessible location.
  • Pop-up or temporary food businesses without a permanent registered commercial address.
  • Any establishment that cannot provide proof of a valid business registration and a physical commercial address.

Verification requirements: All applicants must provide, upon request, proof of business registration, a valid commercial lease or property ownership, and any applicable health or food safety certificates. We reserve the right to request additional documentation and to decline or revoke any registration that does not meet these criteria.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to approve, decline, or revoke the registration of any establishment that does not comply with these eligibility requirements. Misrepresentation of the nature of a business during registration may result in immediate suspension and possible legal action.

6. Free Account Terms

LetsChow offers a free listing tier to qualifying restaurants and food establishments. By registering for a free account, you agree to the following conditions:

  • You must add your restaurant profile within 14 days of registering. Free accounts that do not have an active restaurant listing added within this period may be revoked without prior notice.
  • A free account is intended for use by a single, verified food establishment. One account per establishment.
  • Free accounts are subject to the same eligibility and verification requirements outlined in Section 5. Any free account found to be in breach of these requirements will be revoked immediately.
  • We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time, with or without notice.
  • Free accounts may have limited access to certain features available to paid subscribers.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

LetsChow offers paid subscription plans to restaurants for listing and promoting deals and individuals for viewing and using the aforementioned restaurant deals. By subscribing:

  • You agree to the fees, billing cycles, and terms listed at checkout.
  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription fees with prior notice.

8. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made during an active billing period.
  • Access to premium features will continue until the end of your billing cycle.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • Restaurant-specific inaccuracies, such as pricing, availability, or offers.
  • Service interruptions or data loss caused by factors beyond our control.

10. Third-Party Content

We may display content, promotions, or links from third parties (e.g., restaurants). We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of such content and are not responsible for any transactions or experiences you have with these third parties.

11. Modifications to the Platform

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Platform (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, especially if you violate our Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern these Terms. Any disputes will be resolved via the necessary and correct channels.
